The BONDIBarefoot attracts a field of many champion runners, as well as 400 recreational runners ranging in age from 15 to 70. It is a unique opportunity to run the famous sands of Bondi Beach.
The course covers 4 laps of the beach, starting and finishing near the North Bondi SLSC at the northern end of the Beach.
Event Categories
The following divisions are offered for male and female competitors.
- U19
- 20-29
- 30-39
- 40-49
- 50+
- 60+
- Open Team
Team Event:
A team shall consist of four runners per team. A Team can be made up of male and/or female of all ages and all will compete in the Open Team event only. All team members will be required to comply with the same rules and terms and conditions as indicated in the 4km race.
Note:
There must be 3 or more competitors in an age group for prizes to be awarded in that category. If numbers are insufficient, competitors are eligible for prizes in the next lower age group.
